High school is a time of discovery, growth, and transformation. Alongside academic challenges, students also navigate personal, social, emotional, and spiritual development. At NDCL, our School Counseling Department is committed to supporting students throughout this journey, empowering them to thrive during these pivotal years.

Our school counselors are trained professionals who provide compassionate, student-centered support. We help students build resilience, recognize their strengths, develop problem-solving skills, and grow in independence each year. Whether navigating everyday stress or facing deeper mental health challenges, students will find a trusted partner in their counselor.

Counselors also offer direct instruction in stress management, coping strategies, and life skills. When a student’s needs go beyond the scope of school-based counseling, we collaborate with mental health professionals—including licensed clinical counselors, therapists, and psychiatrists—to ensure they receive the support they need.

Students are encouraged to connect with their counselor anytime. They can stop by the counseling office to set up an appointment or email their counselor directly. Our doors are always open—we’re here to listen, support, and guide.
